Best Drugstore Highlighters

Good afternoon, morning, or whatever time you are reading this.

My last blog post was posted a long time ago. The reason behind the situation wasn’t  because I was lazy or because I didn’t want to, it was because I was experiencing something new. I was going through a hard time adjusting to something that was going to be an important part of my life. Now that I am comfortable and less stress than I was, I am fully prepared to start to post and give it my all to this blog. Before I start talking about Drugstore Highlighter, I would like to thank everyone who followed or read my blog. Without further ado, let’s get start!

It seems that now in days everyone is obsessed with highlighters. Whether it’s for a dramatic look or a natural look, everyone is including a nice and dewy highlighter into their makeup look. I definitely enjoy a good highlighter but paying $60 isn’t always fun. Don’t worry because I have listed my all time favorites drugstore highlighters.

  1. Wet N’ Wild “Precious Petals” MegaGlo

This is my number one favorite highlighter. It’s a gorgeous rose gold/peachy color that goes with every skin tone. Two or three swatches and you will get a nice pigmentation. Plus it easy to blend but the most AMAZING thing is that is valued at $3.99

2. Physicians Formula “Shimmer Strips All-in-1” Nude Palette

This is also an amazing highlighter. It came head to head with the Wet N’ Wild but the I choose Precious Petals as number one due to the price. It comes in warm nude and natural nude. This a palette comes in 12 different shades. This is an amazing highlighter because you can mix and choose the different colors to create a perfect highlighter. The formula is probably the best thing about this product. It’s dewy and shimmer, without being too glittery. The Physicians Formula Nude Palette is priced at $13.95

3. Physicians Formula “Shimmer Strips” Custom Bronzer, Blush & Eyeshadow

This is also a Physicians Formula product. This is similar to the All-in-1 except this have 5 rows of different shades. It’s a multipurpose product which can be used as a bronzer, blush, eyeshadow, and highlighter. It comes in six different shade for different type of skin tones. I personally prefer Miami Strip/Healthy Glow Bronzer. Has great pigmentation and is easy to blend. The Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips is valued at $12.95.

4. L’Oréal “True Match Lumi”Liquid Glow Illuminator L’Oréal “True Match Lumi”Liquid   Glow Illuminator

If you aren’t into powder than I recommend this product. This product is a liquid glow illuminator. It comes in the shades Ice, Rose Gold, and Golden. All you have to do is swipe it on and you will be a glowing goddess. Personally, I enjoy mixing it into my foundation and creating a dewy and glowing look. Long lasting, great pigmentation, and lightweight makes this product overall great. This Liquid Glow Illuminator is priced at 12.99.

5. Maybelline “Face Studio Master Hi-Light” Blush & Bronzer Palette

This a very versatile product and can be use as a contour palette. If you enjoy more of a sun-kissed and natural look then this will be your product. This palette holds 4 different shades which can be mixed to create a special look. Use this on your brow bone and you will be amazed. I use this to create a subtle contour and it’s like I have naturally noticeable cheekbones. The Mauve palette is great for pale skin and if you are darker than go for the coral or nude. This Palette is priced at $9.99.

Any of these highlighters are worth your time and money. So next time you find your self at the drugstore make sure to pick some of these up.  Thank you for reading and I hope to see your own comments on these products.
